At Hawthorn-Melbourne, we can help you create the right course combination for your learning goals and your English language level.
General English courses cater to all English level of learners and classes range from beginner through to advanced.
Students in General English upper intermediate (IELTS 4.5), may choose to move to our academic English or English for Business classes. At the end of each level, you will have the opportunity to discuss your progress with your teacher and together choose your next course of study.
Before your first day of class you will sit an English test to make sure you are in the right class for your English proficiency level. This process ensures you are enrolled in a class that is both challenging and effective in improving your English.
